Chapter 3, The Basketball Game

We arrived at the school, I followed Liv in, but then lost sight of her. Awkwardly, I stood looking around at the school, and searching for any sign of where they all went. While I looked around I was amazed at the large, beautiful school. Jenny’s father, who had driven us to the school, came in and saw me. “Are you lost?” He said, I bit down a laugh, ‘Was it that obvious?’ I thought to myself, it must’ve been. “Oh yeah, I was following Liv an-“ He cut me off as he guided me towards the basketball court. Once more, I hardly moved as I stood out of place with a coat and bag in a basketball court. I was scared, shy, and excited. I was to shy to move from where I was though. Later on, after a game of shooting hoops with some classmates, Jenny’s father, who I had guessed was a coach, was now suggesting a full court game. Wearing that confused look that hadn’t started to wear off when I arrived, I timidly walked towards the court. I watched as the girls there laughed, and got alon

Chapter 2, Blushing, lots of blushing.

The next morning, John took us out around the town, he brought his daughter Liv with him. After coming out of one of the stores, my father decided to refer to a past request I had made in the store. Speaking quietly to me he said, “Do you need pads?” Shocked at this, I started to swat my dads arm to silence him, of course the swatting was brought upon himself for making such a private statement. “Daaaaaaadddd!!!” I said in a whiny complaining tone. Smiling, as if it was funny, I mentally noted to have some payback later. John turned around and asked what we were talking about, my dad brilliantly decided to not dismiss it, instead he responded, “Oh, yeah, Ziah just needs some pads from the store.” Hiding my embarrassment, Liv decided to talk to me, “Oh yeah, it must be embarrassing to have to ask your dad that, I know how that is, my mom orders them from online.” Deciding to ignore the previous embarrassment, I laughed, “Yeah…” I had no problem talking to my dad about that stu

Chapter 1, Moving in, and possibly some deep thoughts

This was it, after a rushed packing, and piles of stress, we were here. My father and I are missionaries, we travel allot, my dad has done more traveling with my mother. I realized something from all the traveling, that letting go and hurting are all part of it, but nothing is permanent. Nothing really is ever going to stay the same except God. But there’s still joy and love and passion in all of it. There’s always a good side to the bad things. Now, here I was dazed by the sudden change of weather and atmosphere. Luckily, we arrived the first week of April, which gave us a two week break to adjust. John, was in charge of us, he was the one who would guide us throughout the town and our new apartment. John took some suitcases and started to pack up everything into the trunk. Smiling he turned to me and asked me a question, “How do you find the weather?” Returning the question with a smile I spoke, “Its cold.” He laughed at my comment and proceeded to shut the trunk o

Funny Merlin xDD

Arthur: "But he saved my life…" King: "And why would he fabricate such a story?" Arthur: "Because….he has a grave mental disease." Melrin: "What? I do not!" Arthur:"He does! He's in love with….Gwen!!!" Merlin:"WAHT?! NO!!" Arthur:"Yes he is. I saw you yesterday with that flower she gave you." Mrelin: "But..I…." Arthur: "Its all right you can admit it!" *smiles* Merlin: "I DON'T EVEN THINK OF HER LIKE THAT!!" King: "Perhaps she cast a spell on you………." *everyone looks awkwardly at each other* *king laughs creepily* Arthur: "Merlin is such a wonder, but the wonder is that he's such an idiot! There's no way he's a sorcerer!"

You're very simple words….

A letter to my grandma, that she'll never read, or ever see.... Don't judge me by what you see, don't think that because I do something at that moment i don't know how to do nothing else. I'm smart, strong, and independent. I know how to do things you don't know how to do either. None of us are ever done learning, but you must understand I'm not an idiot, I know how to do things an average woman knows how to do. I was raised by your daughter, your daughter who was raised by you. My mother taught me to be ready for this. I can cook, wash dishes, wash the clothes, clean the house, and fix up myself. I know the things a lady knows when she goes through puberty, when she becomes a woman. I know, I really do, but have you ever bothered to actually listen to me when I told you I can do these things? No, you haven't you go on blabbering about things you think I don't know, you treat me like I wasn't raised by a God fearing and loving woman. Maybe I

Love those who love you, and love them the way God loves you.

Just some advice to you, even if you're mom says something you don't agree with. Something that annoys you, be glad she feeds you, she cares for you, and she loves you. She's still there with you physically, and while she's still there hug her every morning, ask her if she needs help with anything, thank her for anything she does even if it can be annoying. Life is short, and to understand death is not possible. Just care for her like she cares for you, because one day, she won't be there with you physically anymore. You should learn to love your family this way, before there all gone. And you're the only one left. God loves you Katey, and so love others that way  ☺
